Very attractive old course in Watford with mature trees and many interesting holes. Short off forward tees and not a great deal of trouble but you need to think your way round. Greens were in great condition if reasonably flat. Memorable holes:
2nd: longish uphill par 4 5th: shortish par 4 with big dip on right hand side.
8th: signature hole: short par 4 with downhill drive and uphill approach to green with steep pit on left 15th: short downhill par 4: possibly driveable in dry conditions 16th: par 3 with blind green! Notable for its rarity value although in my opinion bad design! 18th: very short par 5 with sharp dogleg left near green. Warm welcome and great day out. The course is second only to South Herts in my experience in the area.

A fine challenging course that has greatly improved its facilities in recent months. I believe its as good as they come in the South East - but wait for Chennies, in Chorleywood - just a couple of years more.
