There is a special charm about the West Surrey clubhouse, which is reminiscent in character of the Surrey Farmhouses of the 19th Century. The old oak beams, the weathered brickwork and the octagonal shaped dining room with its leaded windows looking out onto the 1st hole are features which delight as much today as they did when the building was first opened in 1910. Bar and catering facilities available for those wishing to enjoy the selection of local beers and home cooking.

An excellent course designed with both difficulty yet in a fair manner. The front nine starts off tough and you don't get a break for quite a while. When I played it the course was remarkably tougher due to the impossible rough. A shot off the fairway off any of the long par fours and its five, if you're lucky. Shot placement is required on the par three's and you still have to keep it in the fairway on the par five's which are by no means an easy par. Well kept greens gently rolling keep it fair but challenging on the greens. Two great finishing hole in 17 and 18 give the course a championship touch as you end your round. An overall excellent course requiring shot-making, accuracy, and an ability to scramble.
