An interseting feature is that the first nine holes are laid out on a large plataeu featuring a lovely stram which comes into play at the 3rd and 4th holes. The Brickey river traverses the southern boundary and features the 2nd, 12th,14th , 15th and 16th holes which makes these very challenging golf holes. Quoting Eddie Hackett :'I was given the opportunity to design a great golf course in a unique situation'. For an appreciation and independent view of this course please see golfer reviews. ![]() |

Smashing course - good variety of holes with birdies available on the front nine. However if you haven't established a good score going on to the back 9 you won't be making any speeches. The 18 is a monster par 4 - take a small missile launcher off the tee and you're still hitting a 3 wood for your second. Top class clubhouse.
