Typical municipal course in this country located in amongst an industrial estate. Golfers of all HC's and attire. Albeit that the course suffers because of this the land which this track is built upon is good golfin' land. If it were a members club it would attract many. Watch out for local kids crossing the course that find it amusing to nick your ball from the fairway as you stand on the tee. Back 9 better than front, in my opinion. Good place for absolute beginners to start as their are teaching pros, indoor training facilities, and a course that doesn't mind you having your first hack around.

The greens are poor throughout the year, the tee's are even worse! Even the temporary tee's are bad! and the fairways are not much better either! I suppose it does'nt help, as the course is surrounded by two of the worst housing estates in Leicester! The course is often vandalised by mindless idiots!
To top it off, playing at the course is well over priced. You would of thought with all the above information the golf course would set a reasonable pay per play green fee! You can play at some of the best golf courses in the county for around the same price!

Some fair points made by Rich. In fairness though, the course is ideal for starters. There are many varied holes and the course is generally very forgiving. The greens, though not brilliant, are not to bad so as to ruin your enjoyment. I do accept that the tees are very poor.
