We visited Wexford Golf Club during June 2001. I have played this course on
many occasions but must admit that on this day it was the best I have ever
seen it. It is a lovely course with some challenging holes and exceptional
panoramic views from certain tees. The welcome back at the clubhouse is superb.
Looking forward to my next visit.

Wexford Golf Club has matured into one of the finest courses in southern Ireland, and can only get better when the recent alterations behind to take shape. It has a notably large population of junior members who are always courteous and helpful to visitors...something quite refreshing in today's age.. the junior section has a proud record in competition which is notable when entering the clubhouse, and are one of the most successful clubs in Ireland.
The course contains many spectacular holes and the changing wind is always a challenge as the course is situated high above the town looking down on the beautiful, picturesque Wexford bay...the clubhouse is a tremendously friendly place that is never short of banter or 'craic'....Wexford is a top quality course without any of the conservative, snobbish attitudes that the public normally associate with golf clubs...It is truly how a golf club should be.

Spot on! Played there many a time with Nick Lacey,Larry Burne and co.Although a member of a very prestigious club in the UK, I cant wait to move over there and try to join the club. The views are stunning and the club improves every year.Long may it continue. P.S. Its probably the best pint of Guiness in Wexford!
