Played this course 14th May 2001 for the first time. Fairly flat and easy going course. The first three holes are pretty straightforward all playing more or less parallel to one another. A couple of good par three's; one of which is the eighth. At approx. 160 yards, the green is sheltered by two bunkers and has a fair drop at the rear, a drop that I almost fell victim too. Next three is at the eleventh. This one's an excellent elevated tee with the tee for the twelfth almost right behind the green. Even the best shot here can take an awkward bounce, but vice versa what looks a poor shot can turn into a real beauty. The course was in great condition and due to a pretty good spell of weather the greens were pretty fast. Not a bad round. Well recommended.
