Wolstanton Golf Club, was founded in 1904, on land close to Dimsdale Hall, and the ruined Dimsdale Old Hall. In 1925, the club renovated Dimsdale Hall for its clubhouse, and this was officially opened in August of that year. This stands to this day, amid mature trees and is within easy reach of Newcastle-under-Lyme. It has all the amenities for its members, including a well-appointed dining room, which is well-used by all, including many visitors and societies; lounge-bar, golfers bar, snooker rooms and locker rooms.

Directions
1.5 miles north of Newcastle-under-Lyme and is just off the A34. At Sportsman Inn, turn right onto Dimsdale Parade for .5 miles. Then right onto Hassam Parade.

Wolstanton Golf Club is situated approximately 1.5 miles outside Newcastle-under-Lyme, close to the A34, and is essentially a suburban course with houses in close proximity. Having been in existence since 1904, the course has many mature trees, and undulating fairways. At 5807 yards, the course is not long, but provides a good test for all golfers, having six difficult par 3 holes.
