Don't believe all the hype about this course. We played it in October 2003 - apart from there being nothing special about the actual course - it was in appalling condition. The greens were atrocious - the result of overplaying and poor green keeping. The surrounds to the greens were like concrete with a dried grass covering in parts. It has been an exceptionally dry summer but most courses at least water around the greens. At 55 euros during the week and 80 euros at weekends it outpriced all the other courses we played. Being a hotel course they have a captive audience - plenty of Brits with more money than sense!
