Played the course in June 2006, with a party of 10, and found a warm welcome, superb clubhouse, and a course that was very challenging but immensely enjoyable. We played on a calm, sunny day, and the course was in excellent condition. It is a welcome relief to find bunkers on a French course which are actually playable. There were hardly any other players on the course, so we could play at our own pace.
One word of caution - because of the amount of water, there are a lot of insects, so a repellent spray is essential!
Favourite hole was the par 3 8th over a lake.
A great golfing experience, and a 'must play' when in the Deauville area.
