Course Name: Eifel Holes: 18 Yardage: 6063 SSS: 72
Eifel Golf parkland course was designed by Deutsche Golf Consult. Eifel Golf Club is paradise for both the golfer and the nature lover. The rare and protected Red Milan, the bird of the year 2000, endlessly circles over the undulating fairways. As soon as you finish the short 1st hole, you are confronted with a challenging tee shot over a deer-park. Despite wider fairways and larger greens, the1st nine are not as easy, as appears. Length is the No1 requirement at hole 6 and 7 whereby water lurks at the 8th and 9th. Although not as long, the second 9 holes are much narrower, with smaller greens which requires more precise shot making ability. Heather to the left and right awaits every errant shot. The signature hole, the long par 3, 16th offers breathtaking views over the Eifel countryside. The 427m, par 4, 18th is one of the most difficult holes in Germany.
