Just spent 2 days playing at the Fregate. The scenerey is fantastic, the tees, the fairways and the greens were in excellent condition. Although my wife and myself are relative beginners we managed to get round without losing to many balls.
Some of the holes I will not forget easily, the 5th had the friendliest ducks and geese that I have encountered, the 10th for its view over the Med as you arrive at the tee, and as previously mentioned the 17th.
We were there on Christmas day and the temperature was around 15 degress which just about perfect. The first day we walked and learned the hard way. We hired a buggy on the second which we seriously appreciated.
We will definately return. Absolutely loved this course.

I have played on this golf course twice and was hugely impressed both times. Beautiful scenery (the med, lakes, hills) and a lovely course with some GRAT holes. The tee shot on the 17th has to be seen to be believed. A pieice of advice though if you play it - hire an electric buggy. The course is hilly and will wipe you out if you walk it in that heat 35 degrees +.

One of my favourite courses, very scenic.
Bring a lot of fluid if you're walking.
Greens are superb and some fairways very narrow. Good course management necessary. If you hook, bring extra balls.
Superb facilities. I always make sure to play there when I'm in France.
