Overcrowded, expensive, bad maintenance condition, unfriendly staff and so I can go on. The course is not worth the price they are charging you. I know a lot of much nicer and chaeper courses in the neighbourhood. For example the exiting La Galiana or Villaitana Poniente as well as Villaitana Levante. Even the 9 holes course of Javea Golf Club gives much more pleasure to play. They charging hij EUR 37 tot 18 holes.

This course is now in dreadful condition. Anyone paying to play this course now will be absolutely furious. They have added 9 holes to the existing 18 but should not have opened it as its a year at least too early. If they can't maintain the original 18 what hope is there for the new 9.

A dramatic decline in condition since I played last year. Tee box's neglected. Grass in bunkers and greens are deceased. The rough is scruffy and we always had to wait to tee off even though you have booked a t time. It seems that golfers were sent off as and when they arrived. What a shame as the course is basicly a good course, unfortunatly sdpoiled by poor maintanace.

Nicely presented course and challenging for medium-high handicap players. Not worth the E75 green fee though.

I have just returned from a five day golfing trip to Spain. Yesterday I played La Sella. Very poor condition, Greens slow, bumpy, severely pock marked. So poor in fact that I am contemplating a formal complaint. Course totally lacking in maintenance. Generation of money seems to be the only objective here.
My advice give it a miss, not worth 75 Euros a round. current condition 35 euros would be reasonable. Good course design but badly neglected.

The course was in good condition when we recently played it but some of the back 9 holes need attention. The downside was the cost of 75 euros per round which is really expensive if you wish to play a few rounds there. I Feel that the green fee costs need to be addressed and lowered

Good golf course with testing holes suitable for long hitters. Downside is the price of 75 euros per round. The course was empty due to this fact, perhaps they need to rethink their pricing policy as other courses have done in the area in the present economic climate

I played here a few times ago about 10 years ago and all i can remember was that it was fantastic with lots of cold drinks after every hole - a real lifesaver...hope to go back this july '08....

75 Euros for a round of golf on a course where the greens hadn't been cut for ages, the holes had grass growing over the edges, workmen on five holes who you had to wait for before being able to play your shots and then a buggy running out of power 14 holes in. We weren't even offered an apology for having to push the buggy for the last four holes let alone a refund...not what you'd expect.
Even if the course had been in good condition the back nine would let it down as they're average at best. I've played many courses in Europe for this price and La Sella is by far the worst.

I have been going to La Sella for a number of years. Mostly top class, challenging yet fun. You get a nice crowd in Clubhouse. Have always stayed in villas rather than hotels as they are much better to come back to. I use villaspain.co.uk. Great golf great weather, great villas ........perfect.

I have a holiday home on this course so I am a little biased. When this course is presented in it's very best condition, it can be amazing. Sadly the course management does not seem to deliver this on a consistent basis. However well worth playing a course with 3 of the toughest par 4's in Europe, surely?
