Leksand Golf Course

Just found this site and looked up one of my favourite courses in Sweden, only to discover there are currently no reviews! Let me put that right. I have taken a group of Welsh golfers to Leksand, on alternate years, since 2001. We play against a Swedish team for the Toad Trophy on a Ryder Cup format and it is absolutely brilliant! The course is first class with every effort made by the excellent greens staff to present it in perfect condition for visitors. We have always been made extremely welcome and have enjoyed superb food in the club house restaurant. I must also mention the Leksand Guest House (leksands.guesth@telia.com)
which lies within walking distance of the course. The lovely Elisabeth makes everyone welcome and her wonderful breakfasts set you up for the challenge of 18 testing holes of golf. First class in every sense!
