A course which accommodates all levels of golfers. Good driving is a necessity, as otherwise you will be at a considerable disadvantage. Approach shots to the greens require a little creativity if you are to get the ball really close. Competitions every week-end and several week-days, usually played in a convivial atmosphere.
Most members are hospitable and are keen to share their experiences of the course with you.
The Georgian course is currently in good order and significant further improvements to the lay out of the Regency course will shortly provide more practice facilities for all for members.
The mid-week guest fee of £11.75 ( providing you play with a member) is very reasonable and is thus, well worth a visit.

A course for the good driver with five par five's, but watch out, a little off line and you are in the water to the right or out of bounds to the left ( and that's only the first hole).
Some lovely views from the top of the course and an informal relaxed atmosphere in Clubhouse.
