| Europe Golf courses reviews Jonathan Walter 08/00 |

played on a Sunday morning and the lack of set tee-times led to long queues at the 1st tee. There were a lot of sunday hackers on the course, including some small children. We were following a slow five-ball who had no idea of etiquette, and didn't offer us through despite the fact that we were a fairly fast two-ball. Bunkers were left un-raked and pitch marks were not being repaired. Most annoying of all was the loud chatter of people queuing behind while tee-shots were being taken. I would suggest a dress-code including spikes would deter some of the worst elements from the course - an increase in the green fees would perhaps also help. There is also a policy of hiring bags and clubs which also encourages undesirables. This is all a shame because it is a nicely designed 9 hole course kept in a reasonable condition - but it will not attract the semi-serious golfer until these things are sorted out.
