St. David's City Golf Club in southwest Wales
St. David's City Golf Club sits perched far out on Wales' most southwestern coast. It's a little out-of-the-way, relatively speaking. But those who make the visit will enjoy a special, overachieving nine-hole golf course with some of Wales' best coastal views.
A par 35 with one uphill par 5, St. David's is not overly long. The par-3 fourth hole plays downhill to a green overlooking the water for the course's best vista, though great views can be had from anywhere here. The course has relatively small greens, and there is even one double green shared by the third and sixth holes.
Don't get St. David's City Golf Club confused with the more famous 18-hole Royal St. David's to the north in Wales.
