I first visited the beutifully meadowed course in the early months of 2003. By gum, i was taken abak by the immaculately conditioned greens and fairways, by gum they were rite green. I did inform my good friend Tiger Woods of the great course, who assured me it cant be as good as Walton Gardens Pitch and Putt. By gum he were rite u know, i finely crafted pitch and putt course with an well creasoted shed! By Gum. I am currently playing at +10 however by gum, with my new ping i3 + along with a finely crafted course such as Antrobus, by gum im gettin a good +15, well under scratch. George Buckly ( who has the previous model golf clubs to me) is working at - 15 arghhhh well, by gum, at least he tries. By Gum me an me buddy old boy Tiger are off to discuss tactics, an hopefull i will be able to improove his performance. By gum here comes budy old boy Justin Rose ( "no justin i will not let you play with my shaft ) ne road, by gum, them were t' days , well antrobus golf course, heyrose, Mere, Hartford, Pebble Beach, Royal St Georges, there all a bit too complex and over rated for my liking, by gum come on people, by gum what happend to the good old (back in t' day style) CRAZY GOLF, eye we ad many hours of fun, bak in t' day playint' wiv ye old craxy gold courses. Je jolly rodgers, toodle hoot, by gum is that the tyem, by gum, im off to bug out and big up wiv my bussy olf, by gum, boys Tiger and Justin! by gum

A course that has matured rapidly beyond its tender years and will prove a challenge to all golfers. Unless you are straight of the tee problems are usually encountered. The greens are reasonably true and have superb drainage meaning that unless there is exceptionally bad weather they are played on all year round. Friendly club as well with a warm welcome always.

Greens still need a bit of time, but the course is interesting and enjoyable. It is not too long, and there are a few par 4s where an iron is the sensible club off of the tee, but there are plenty of hazards that will catch the complacent shot. The 4 par 5s are all around 500 yards with water at about 400 yards, making each a tempting choice of a straight-forward 3 shots to the green or a heroic but potentially expensive 2 shot challenge.
