Great Golf Course, excellent holes. I have had a hole in 1 on the 12th hole on Braids 2.

Braids 2 is the best kept secret in Edinburgh. On a Saturday afternoon, when the queues on neighbouring Braids 1 are frustratingly long, you can often see golfers on Braids 2 with the course virtually to themselves.
The reason for this dramatic contrast is that people shy away from this course due to the few blind holes that it includes. For me, these secluded valleys and hidden away greens are the greatest asset of Braids 2 and, at times, you can be teeing off or holing out with the feeling your only person for miles around. Of course, for the traditionalists, there are many long open holes as well. This unique mix makes Braids 2 well worth a visit, if only out of curiosity!
