Played the course on 7/29/98 under rainy conditions...not much trouble off the tee in the way of whin, rough or burns...and that is a good thing. The topography is all this
course needs to present its challenge. #6 (Witch) is a killer little par 3...take an extra club...maybe two. Free lifts from electric fences around the greens(to keep the sheep off, and there are plenty of sheep...we were suprised that we didn't hit any), and animal droppings are played as casual water...play the course twice so you can pick the right club the second time around...great fun.

Brora is lovely links course with views of the North Sea and mountains on every hole. The rough has, it seems, two seasons: calf high for a good challenge and cut low for a delightfully pleasant holiday round. The #18 is a nice approach to the clubhouse, with the second shot requiring placement and the right speed.

Had the privledge of playing this course in 1993. It was the first of 11 days of golf in Scotland. Really liked the sheep that roam the course and the views of the sea and mountains. Have video of the first of two rounds on that day I will cherish for the rest of my life. Bill in Slippery Rock,PA

Four ladies from L.I. played in August/97. We had great caddies and that made the course that much more enjoyable. The par 3s are super! The people could not have been nicer and the food in the clubhouse was just right. Sheep and cows are a beautiful addition to a beautiful course.

I played Brora in July of 1999 this is a true gem must not be overlooked. If you ball should land next to a cow remember to rule move the cow not the ball. The greens crew work very hard for little wages.
Just a great experience.

We played Brora twice, in 1994 and 1996. Enjoyed it both times. We will be in Scotland again this coming May/June will play again. Enjoyed the course and the bar / restaurant where one of the ladies working there recognised us from 1994. Wonder if she will remember again.
