We played on New Years Day when almost every other course in North Wales was either still covered in snow or waterlogged or on temporary greens. This is a real gem of a course - most of us considered it our top 5 we have played. It was one of the most enjoyable rounds ever, with interesting holes over undulating terrain with plenty of very inviting driving holes - especially the 18th, excellent greens of varying shapes and slopes which are open pretty well all year. Bull Bay is a bit off the beaten track but well worth the effort. If it were more central it would be very expensive and exclusive! If anyone's knows of a better golf course at a better price please let me know.
This area has some great golf - also try Holyhead, St Deiniol, Llandudno North Wales, Maesdu, Prestatyn and Conwy. Another good area is around Porthmadog - try Porthmadog, Harlech, Pwllheli, Abersoch (all links) and the clifftop course at Nefyn (beautiful).

I am a member at Bull Bay and would like to compliment the greenkeepers for the marvellous condition the course is kept in. Many thanks to John Burns for his recent help. Kind regards to Mr. Captain the staff and all fellow members.
Hope to see you soon. Best wishes

Three summers ago I played Bull Bay and ever since my mind drifts back to that enjoyable afternoon. It is a course who's layout simply adheres to the natural landscaping. It seems as if the pins were simply put in around the field. This was something of a relief compared to the type of man made and unnatural courses you find in the States. I look forward to my return this little hidden gem where the feeling is as it should be, pure.

As a Welsh expatriate presently living in Norway, I look forward to playing this course every summer during our annual visit. Its' natural landscape provides an interesting layout for this course. It is both interesting and challenging, and especially so when combined with the strong winds that are to be found on the North coast of Anglesey.
