In May of 98, we played the course, and stayed in the hotel. The course layout is beautiful. The wind is a major factor, as it always seemed to be blowing. During this trip, we played Ballybunion and Lahinch. Playing Bundoran, was just as much fun. For us, a plus was the hotel being right there. It made both the golf and the stay more relaxing. The Great Northern was a excellent hotel.
On the next trip to Ireland, we will return to Bundoran.
