I have been a member here for 2 years & can say that this is a test for all golfers, with the 8th being the signature hole. It does get wet over the xmas period but work has begun on the drainage system with will hopefully cure this. If your looking for somewhere to join with a low-cost joining on fee then I would reccommend as in a couple of years this will increase when the course dries out.

I have been a member for a year and a half at calderfields. There are
numerous testing holes, with two very tough par 3's, definately a course for
slicers as right is safe at calderfields. In summer the course is great fun
to play, in winter it gets WET

Calderfields is a relatively young course with the potential of developing into an even more testing course as the foliage matures.
In places it is rather open, flat and without feature but the golf shot remains challenging.
There are certainly one or two feature holes that make this a course that you should try when in the area.

A long, forgiving course, with the occasional testing shot, deep bunkers and expanses of water. It way well be the windyest place on earth but it is ideal for the improving golfer, and a test for the best. However, beginners stay on the new, modern, floodlit, range, Calderfields can be a confidence destroyer!
