WOW ,, What a shock to the system this course is .
Absolutely lovely course with great greens and fairways but what i cant
understand is that you walk uphill for 11 holes and never come down!!
A nightmare for the older golfer but still a pleasure to play with a warm
welcome and nice clubhouse with nice conservatory..
A few of the fairways were difficult to keep the ball on like Erewash G.C.
because of the big slopes from left to right and visa versa.
There are a few testing par 3s especially one with a 225 yard blind shot to
the small green, i play off 6 and it frightened the life out of me, in a
medal it must be a nightmare to think of a par.
By the way it is 15 pounds with a Derby union card otherwise 25 pounds but
well worth it but NOT 36 holes unless your Mathew Pincent..
