An excellent test of golf in a super setting. This is obviously a special course, which can be enjoyed by all handicappers. The course looks frighteningly long and narrow playing off the championship markers. We were off yellows, which was not so daunting. I like every hole except the short 2nd? Can't decide which club and can't read the green! Clubhouse was friendly, relaxed and served excellent fresh local fish and chips.

This has to be the finest or certainly one of the best courses in the United Kingdom, the welcome from the pro and the facilities are excellent.
The course is championship standard and indeed holds many professional and amateur events during the year so I am told, its not easy, but offers a great test to all players of different standards of play.
Catering is second to none, and the 19th is certainly worth a visit, very friendly staff, and well worth the journey and the money.
    Excellent value.
