I am fortunate enough to be a member of Co Armagh GC. The course is very well laid out mature parkland with a very good mix of holes. The mark of any course is, how many memorable holes are there ? Most people I know who have played here remember almost all of them after the first visit and I've never heard the course described as open and easy before !
My favourites are the fifth, played through a narrow avenue of mature trees, the seventh a par 3 played over a small quarry and the par 3 eleventh, played downhill to a double green guarded by trees and a stream.
I've played a fair bit of golf around Ireland and Scotland and to be honest I've yet to find a course that I'd rather play my weekly golf on. If you're in the area call in and you won't be disappointed. Happy Golfing

Played Co.Armagh GC for the first time today and I have got to say it was truly a pleasure. The fact that the weather was glorious helped but course conditions are first rate. I had been warned about the side sloped fairways but the setup is very fair. Would need to play again to get to grips with greens...not just as easy to see the breaks as it appears!!
Watch out for opens and don't miss the opportunity to give this course a go, and do take time to admire the great views of Armagh.

A very open and easy course particularly for left-handers.
