One of the best settings possible, amazing panoramic views of mountains and coastline. Very quiet, rural and friendly, sometimes sheep on the fairways, electric fences around greens, which just adds to the difference. Greens not brilliant, slow, but forget that and experience the course, you must not miss it.

Criccieth Golf Club is a small club with a very friendly atmosphere. The course was originally 9 holes and then extended to 16 before recently being extended again to 18. These two new holes should be completed by the Summer of 1998. The course itself isn't long and of par 69 which offers 5 par three holes, the most exciting of which is the 16th. The 16th hole is played from the top of a small mountain to a green below, about 110 yards away. From the tee you can get the best views of any golf course in Britain. The view is of the Cardigan Bay to the South, The Llyn Peninsula to the West and the Snowdonia National Park to the North East.
