I Play Cruit every summer about 15 - 20 times within 2 weeks.. And i will tell you that i still have not mastered every hole. This course is a really great course, one of my favorite in Ireland, and i would put it in front of Royal County Down anyday! Pitty though its not an eighteen holer!

Absoloutly fabulous course, was over playing it in easter for the first time and thought it was magnificent. The scenery is unreal. Thought we were going the wrong way though the road goes on for ages! stunning truly stunning!

Since first playing this stunningly beautiful links three years ago, I've been desperate to return. Two weeks ago I did, and I was not to be disappointed. Though only nine holes, this remote course is superbly maintained, quirky, challenging and picturesque. The very definition of a hidden gem.

People despair at the road from Kincasslagh into Cruit Island Golf Course but I can assure you that it is worth the trip. The views around this tricky 9-hole natural links course are really stunning. The many blind holes are worthwhile because of the new view over each hill and around each corner. The holes are deceptively trick and the rough is exactly that. The trade-mark 6th hole can play anything betwen a sand wedge and a 3 wood - depending on the wind. Try it - it's worth it.

I have been trying for 3 months to make tee times at Cruit Island. I have tried to call and go through email to no avail. My group of 10 people will be in the area on May 28 and would like to play the course. Can anyone give me some direction on who to email or talk to.

I couldn't agree more this is an abiding memory of a weeks long visit to Donegal for a wedding. The views on every hole on this course make it a fantastic experience.If you do getthe chance to play here then stick a camera in your bag, you'll regret it if you don't.

This is an excellent course on the coast of Donegal. The scenery is spectacular. It is quite a short course but by no means easy. Your driving has to be good to keep the ball on the fairway.

This sounds like an excellent course and you sell it well Eoin but do you need a handicapp certificate, I myself am of 2 but my wife, Michael, is off 42 and I was wondering if she can play on this course. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Top class course, very short but also very challenging. There's always a wind blowing and it's usually never the same 2 days in a row. It's the most scenic course that you could play on with views of the Atlantic from every point. The par 3 6th is one of the best par threes you will ever play. Both the green and tee are set on Peninsulas so either too short or too long and you're gone, with the wind blowing it can vary from a 3 wood to a wedge. It's only 9 hole but it will be challenging for even the best of golfers.
