I am a 7 handicapper who played Duddingston Golf club in a match for my club against theirs in 1997 and enjoyed the course so much that I have gone and played there several times since then. The course has a stream that winds all through the course and comes into play on 9 out of the 18 holes. Reasonably open fairways but is in a parkland style with trees on almost every hole presenting a hazard. Very comfortable and welcoming clubhouse and very good food served all day.
