As a member of Dun Laoghaire golf club with a handicap of 18, I know all about it.
It was a reasonably long course, established in 1910. It is in a very suburban part of Dublin though and had to be shortened a lot over the years. Anyway, it is a nice course, par 69, with two shortish par 5's (12th + 18th).
My favourite stretch of holes is perhaps the 4th to the 9th. These are 6 great holes and can be deceptively tricky if you're not straight off the tee. There is a lot of rough around there nowadays and for the high handicapper it can be very tricky to make any sort of good score if you are not hitting the fairways.
So there you have it, you simply must play Dun Laoghaire golf course.
