Played July 2009 in a lot of rain, but did not spoil our enjoyment of this classic links of true quality. Standing on greens with the waves crashing around you is inspiring. Very welcoming in clubhouse. Highly recommended.

We played there last Thursday. Sunny, no wind, we were close from golf heaven....until hole 9th where you start to get back to real world with the landscape destroy by a open mine.
Anway, this scar is quickly forgotten as the return is superb, just enough challenging to get good fun.
The staff of the golf club and the pro shop were very warm and really made us feel part of their golf club.
My friend and I ended up draw in our match play afetr 18 hole, the starter kindly authorized us to go for an extra 3 hole...we were still draw after this 3...and so carried on our match play the day after in Gulluan...another story...
So Dunbar is definitively a stop to do if you want to feel the soul of Scottish Golf !!!
