    One of the nicest, friendliest golf clubs in the country. The winter stablelford is the best value for money on the Scottish golf circuit. Turning into the prevailing wind on the back nine is a true test of traditional Scottish links golf.

    This is one of the hidden gems in Scotland. It is not terribly long, it does not require 250 yard drives (though they do help), and it does not require a lot of money. It does require good putting, and some walking (a couple of hills take some effort). The best things about it are the fantastic views, the very friendly members (and club house staff), and the good value for money. Players who come to North Berwick to play the West Links (admittedly a great course) are missing a great opportunity if they do not try the East Links (The Glen) at the other end of town. I know, I belong to clubs that play on both the courses.
