A superb course that unfortunately, I play only 3 times each year. Every hole will offer a different challenge to all handicapped golfers, irrespective of handicap, and despite the many weather changes that can and do / may occur during a round. These changes can alter the course dramatically, and offer different and challenging conditions. The greens are always of similar speed and do play well (congratulations are therefore due to the greens staff) irrespective of the quite different playing conditions that can and do occur.
The clubhouse offers conviviality and good food (providing one finishes the round before 2.00pm!). Have yet to stay overnight in Dormy House as my visits from Shropshire have only been on a daily basis. Mr Williams, Secretary is most helpful, discussions, both recommendations and directives regarding golf and the island. The pro-shop offers simple and direct pleasantness and if one requires new equipment, good challenges / bids on deals.

Not for the 'slicers' or 'hookers' brigade. Great course which must be treated with respect.

This course can be quite a challenge. It is a lot tougher than its yardage might otherwise indicate. The wind is usually blowing and ' horizontal rain' can also be a distraction. Any shot off the fairway into the gorse or tall grass will usually result in a lost ball. The greens are nice and smooth most of the year. This course has nice views of the Irish Sea and the natural beauty of the Isle of Anglesey. The Clubhouse is recently remodelled and it's a nice place to ' have a pint' at the end of the round! Cheers!
