Course Details
| Course Name: Kenmare Holes: 18 Yardage: 5441 SSS: 69 |
The course is a real test of golf in a unique golfing environment and while it can be very exacting for a good golfer it is never unfair to the weak. The early holes stretch along the picturesque Roughty river estuary while the undulating ground to the 'new' nine holes provide panoramic views of Kenmare bay and the Roughty Valley. For an appreciation and independent view of this course please see golfer reviews.

I have played at kenmare golf course since a child, and I now love visiting as an adult.
the original 9 was always a challenge, but with the new course developed, all of your golfing techniques will be tested.
Situated in the glorious surroundings of this historic small town - a day playing golf at Kenmare is an absolute delight.

After the renovation and extenuation to 18 holes the course has matured nicely, the upper part runs behind the town and the lower part is situated along the Kenmare river while the first tee and the Clubhouse are almost in the town. A good golf course that should not be missed when visiting Kenmare on the Ring of Kerry.
