mahon is a low quality golf course in relation to the other golf courses in cork. Its position in the city is in a cheap area with a lot of violence as we experienced on the way in

An Mahon is the 18 holes you wanna play, if u visit Cork. Good condition, a fair challage, good variation - that together makes it the course to play. A minor minus is the club house - however if you enjoy a good Irish pub - u got it. I love it, and I am going back.

18-hole parkland course on Loughmahon Bay. Municipal golf course owned by Cork Corporation. Green fees very reasonable at around 12.00. Some daunting par 4's and scenic and testing par3's. Both the 11th and 12 the are short par 5's, which affords the opportunity to score. Food and drink in the restaurant attached to course the Blackrock inn is excellent. Well worth a visit.
