Founded in 1908, the work of a Scottish Head Greenkeeper since 1990 has provided Monkstown with one of the finest mature parkland courses in Munster.

It was founded as a nine hole golf course, but has since expanded to 18 holes in 1972. A major re-bunkering programme in the early nineties, plus the introduction of some interesting water features on the back nine, has improved both the challenge and the aesthetics of the course.
