It was clear to me after a few holes that the North Inch is a course worth playing. Not only for its important historic significance, but also as a test of the game.
I came off the course surprised and delighted at how pleasant a game the North Inch offers.

Worth noting that this was the first ever golf course dating from the late 15th century. It is where King James IV of Scotland played with the clubs ordered from the bowmaker in your history section.
