A little gem if a course which has been well constructed and maintained in its 23 years of operation.
It take just over one and a half hours to play golf so it leaves plenty of time for other activities during the day.
A course well suited to the novice and the experienced golfer.
Well worth a visit.

A rather poor course which is too squashed with tees running almost parallel to each other. All par threes except for one par four which is a challenging 280 yards. Fairways not cut too required specifications and players may find balls stopping dead with no run on. Excellent hazards though such as the pond on 4 and the uphill 260 yard par 3 as well. All in it is a course which is for the up and coming golfer who has experience but not for the novice. Situation is in Oakdale itself which is quite close to Blackwood for all locals reading this, the club also has large range which I may add is too close to the course as I had to duck on the 9th hole as it is in the firing line. The clubhouse is a beautifully designed building which houses a bar and seating area. If I were to award a mark out of ten then it would have to be 6.

Thanks Craig for your review, are you sure you are commenting on the correct course, because the main pond is on the 3rd, the other hazardous pond is on the 8th. This course has been built and designed without any grants or funding and I believe it is a credit to the owner Mike. It is a friendly golf course with hard working staff and everyone is more than welcome. I hope your comments have not put off too many people . This is a challenging 9 hole pay and play course and I am very proud of it .
