As a beginner this course was quite challenging due to the narrow fairways and mature oak trees on the course. The yardage was also small enough not to feel overwelmed. There was one gripe however and that was the person on the front desk. He actually swore at me about taking all his change when I handed over a ten pound note!

The course is still developing and won't provide a serious challenge for regular players - very cheap green fees and good hospitality.

Having recently learnt to play golf, I enjoy playing on this course because it is challenging but not to difficult. It has a friendly atmosphere set in a scenic area of Silkstead.
