The opening 4 holes at Parklands, if not completed in at least -3, you have to ask yourself some serious questions about your golfing ability. In short, Parklands is a pitch and putt golf course for hackers in the north east.

This is a course, which can be completed with ease. The only real difficulty on this beginner's course is the burn, which runs through the middle of the course, always seems to come into play. With a newly refurbished 2nd the hole is more enjoyable to play. For practising there is not a better course with lots of facilities including a driving range, putting greens and a pitch and putt. This course is good value for juniors on a weekday and good value at weekends which is well worth the money although I would much rather pay a visit to either the City Of Newcastle or the Gosforth Bridlepath and pay the extra few pounds as they are both within a few minutes drive.
