I have played this course several times, and the only way to describe it is Superb, my son was a member there until this season, just wished we lived closer.
And if you are ever on the South West Coast of Scotland, Powfoot is a MUST!

I have recently played the course and was very pleased with the condition of the course and the hospitality in the clubhouse.
As a greenkeeper I was able to look at the course not only as a golfer but as a person involved in the green-keeping industry.
As I played the course I noticed that the first hole never had an area of rough in front of the tees whereas the other holes did. I believe that if an area of rough was grown in front of the tees it would make the hole look better and become more of a challenge .
