A fantastic course to look at and play. Challenging and interesting.Let me explain why I rate Prestbury so highly.
Over the years that I have played golf, I have obviously played a number of courses. I like a challenge when I play and I like to be entertained by the course. Most courses have their good points and bad points, but my feelings on Prestbury Golf Course is that it is the best all round that I have ever played.
Prestbury is a course that you enjoy because of its beauty, if the golf is not good. But from hole to hole it changes so much. Some courses are flat, some are hilly, some are open and some very closed off. Some have too many trees or perhaps too much water, and some are too long or if not too short. Prestbury is a compromise, that seems too take the best from every course to create the course that I could happily play for the rest of my years.
