Pyecombe is of course a very hilly golf course but it is also lovely to play on. The fairways are great and the greens are in top form (when they are in use!). I am a member at Pyecombe and I think it the best course I have played on I use to be a member at hassocks I was there for a year and I started getting bored of that course but I never have got bored of Pyecombe it is so challenging is well I love getting challenged (only when I am on top form).

If you pick a day without fog, wind or rain your time spent on Pyecombe will be a pleasant one. One for the fit and healthy it seems like you never come down the hills that seem so hard to climb, the club I belong to has regular league matches against Pyecombe, It's friendly, I've had some smashing lunches and if I remember rightly they had a nice selections of whiskeys too... Regards

Pyecombe golf course is a tough course indeed, its quite hilly and long but the scenery is beautiful(the first time I played there I saw 3 woodpeckers sitting on 3 different
fairways). Some of the tree lined holes are very well thought out and there is also alot of heavy rough to catch the off form golfer out!. Pycombe is just outside Pycombe and hassocks and not far from hassocks golf club which also is a beautiful and flat course with water hazards dotted around the fairways. Pyecombe is very worth a visit if you are on form but if not the course is very unforgiving and you will soon know about it.
Pycombe is probably in my opinion the second best course I've played with hassocks
being my favourite. but all the same it is definitely a top course.
