I visited Reading golf club on 5/7/02 and have to say this is a must play golf course. It's a beautifully landscaped course with fast undulating greens and magnificent fairways. Each hole has it's own identity making this an interesting and challenging course. The members and staff are very friendly making Reading golf course a pleasurable experience.

When you play at Reay you get the combination of a classic links and a rolling hill course. The fairways and greens are fast. But a number of the holes are up and down great hills. The course overlooks the Pentland Firth, so you can see all the way to Orkney if you need a distraction. There is long rough so you had better keep the ball on the fairway. As is common with most of the courses in the North of Scotland, during the week there is no need for a tee time. Just turn up, but your money in an envelope and then into the honesty box and then go and play.
