Very interesting to see old pictures of Ryhope Mine and the family of Frank Masters. I emigrated with my wife Diana and Five children to South Africa in 1975. My Grandfather Joseph and Father James also brother Stephen now living at Newton Aycliffe all worked at Ryhhope Colliery I worked at Seaham Colliery from 1952 to 1975

the course is now closed.the council have built a school on it.
