The views from the fairways are breathtaking. Worth the visit on its own. The course has been extended to become 18 holes; a course not for the faint hearted but extremely interesting.
I have played on many courses and the friendliness of Skelmorlie is the best I have known. Recommended for a Society Day for the Hospitality, Food, and Golf.

A most enjoyable course to play, although not without its difficulties. The views are fantastic and the people are extremely friendly. This is definitely a club where visitors are made to feel very welcome. I was introduced by official member, James Kelly, who plays off a handicap of 9. Any questions that you may have regarding the club may be addressed to James; as he is extremely familiar with the club and indeed the game.

Quite an exposed course especially in westerly winds. Excellent views across the Firth of Clyde which give inspiration to one's game!
