I played in april in a fourball "open" which cost 90 euros for the pair of us, We scored 42 points stableford, and were informed there were two prizes only for an open comp. At this price it seems the opens are a moneyspinner for st. Margarets, and the welcome was anything but warm, course was patchy at best, don't bother.

Three mates and I played this course in May 2002 (two of us had played the
course before) and thoroughly enjoyed the experiences. This is an excellent
parkland course with many varied and interesting holes. The par 5 with water
is probably the signature hole but there are many good memorable holes
including the finish on the 18th. The course was beautifully presented and
the greens were excellent. The hospitality is superb, the food in the
clubhouse is great and it's only 10 minutes from the airport and a plane
home! I thoroughly recommend this course.

I would heartily endorse this creatively designed course. Despite several rainy days prior to our playing, it was in fine shape (excellent drainage I guess). It may not have the profile of the K-Club or Mt. Juliet but is as challenging and worthy as those courses at a fraction of the cost.

Played this course in early May 1999. It was in excellent shape. The par-5 8th hole is a gem. A very challenging hole. The 18th is another cracking hole which sticks out in my mind. The course as a whole is good challenge. The clubhouse and facilities were excellent. I really enjoyed my game here.
