I learned to play golf on this wonderful course and I have many fond memories. My uncle was the head greens keeper in the 1950's. As a professional I remember playing in the annual foursome tournament and being beaten badly by Arthur Lees. My partner was Helena Abraham's. While a short course not too many players embarrass the course, there are many very challenging holes.
