This is an excellent golf course with lots of friendly people. I just came up on the off chance of playing a round and a junior called Dave Blood asked me to play with him. He was very helpful with my club selection and where to go on each hole. I shot a respectable round of 91, which was 18 over par, not bad off a handicap of 17. Dave was of 18 and he shot an 85. We had a good game and finished up in the bar afterwards.
Overall I enjoyed my day and encourage everyone to go there if they get the chance as I will be.

A very nice muni - excellent value for a tenner (weekend). The wide drive-friendly fairways are in good condition (although it looks like some may get a bit muddy after prolonged rain) and the greens are large and true. This undulating course has lots of trees and bunkers, and the 18th is a great hole to finish - a long downhill par-5 giving a real possibility of a birdie to talk about while supping a pint in the friendly clubhouse. I will certainly be paying another visit to this club.
