Having played nearly all the courses in the midlands, I have to say the vale is the best course I've played. The greens are excellent, fairways wide and in good condition, although it is a long course, it can be enjoyed by all standards because the fairways are wide, and the greens are large. I've played it twice this year, the first time it was sunny and calm, so it wasn't too difficult, but the second time it was really windy, it really made it a hard test of golf. The best thing about the vale is that there is no waiting on the tee, on a lot of courses I've played there is too much waiting on the tee, this only spoils your game.
