This is one of the oldest courses in greater london area still playing on its original site[james braid design.]to score well here you must think your way round.some of the long par three's are very tricky with three being at the 200 yard mark.this course is well worth a visit and exceptional value on public days.playing recently i noticed a lot of work being done redisgning the bunkers which will make it even better come spring 2004 and considering i played in january the greens were outstanding.

This is a classic James Braid designed course which you can recognise from the tight approaches to most of the holes. Delightful course with some very tough par 3s and several long and challenging par 4s. You will do very well to play to your handicap around here. Most of the holes need a solid tee shot in order to carry the rough to get to the fairway or green, so this course is not best suited to beginners.
